Synopsis[]

Soulmates Eric and Shelly are brutally murdered when the demons of her dark past catch up with them. Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to seek merciless revenge on their killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right.[1]

Plot Summary[]

Shelly, a young woman desperate to escape the clutches of Roeg, a crime lord who has secured his immortality by delivering innocent souls to Hell, seeks safety in a rehabilitation center. There, she crosses paths with Eric, a young man burdened by a troubled past. The two quickly form a deep connection, finding solace in each other's company. However, their peace is shattered when Marian, Roeg's relentless enforcer, tracks Shelly down, forcing them to flee together.

As they run from danger, Shelly and Eric's relationship deepens into love, united by their mutual passion for music. Tragically, their brief happiness is cut short when Roeg's men discover their hiding place and brutally murder them both.

In the afterlife, Eric awakens in a desolate trainyard, where he meets Kronos, a spirit guide who offers him a chance to bring Shelly back by exacting vengeance on Roeg. With the help of a mystical crow, Eric returns to the living world, determined to eliminate Roeg and his henchmen.

During his quest, Eric learns that Roeg has taken control of Shelly's mind, forcing her to commit a terrible crime. This revelation causes Eric to question the strength of their love, and Kronos warns him that because of his doubts, he can never be reunited with Shelly in life.

Despite this grim news, Eric's devotion to Shelly drives him to make a sacrifice—he strikes a deal with Kronos to take Shelly's place in Hell once his mission is complete. Tracking Marian to an opera house, Eric confronts and kills Roeg's men before ending Marian's life, obtaining Roeg's whereabouts in the process. In their final showdown, Roeg nearly overpowers Eric and attempts to steal his abilities, but Eric manages to transport them back to the trainyard, where he finally defeats Roeg and frees Shelly's soul.

In the end, Shelly is revived on the night they were killed, while Eric accepts his destiny, comforted by the belief that their souls will one day reunite, even if they must endure separation for now.
